Here at The Barn at Woodworth, we love rustic weddings and seeing our brides bring the very best creative ideas to our venue. Our 40-foot hand hewed beams, 2 floors, and 5,700 square feet of space make a gorgeous blank canvas able to showcase everything from sophisticated elegance to charmingly simplistic. We’ve gathered a few of our favorite ideas to inspire and spark your barn wedding dreams.
The details are not the details, they make the design- Charles Eames
Sometimes the simplest details can make all the difference and this bride’s centerpieces are no exception. This unique design follows a minimalist view combining centerpieces with dessert. Guests are able to enjoy a beautiful view, without it overpowering the room, all the while anticipating deliciously gorgeous cake.
Dreaming, after all, is a form of planning
–Gloria Steinem
This bride’s ceremony was elegantly dreamy with rich greens and soft wisps of whites. Surrounding the bride with simple fresh florals drew the eye, naturally, to the focal points of the ceremony and brought the feel of a perfect summer day, inside. Adding the antique doors and galvanized metal buckets created the perfect touch to this dreamy country feel.
Design is a balance between form and function…it takes two. –seesaw
Sometimes function holds all the style as you can see in this bride's rustic ceremony held in our Loafing Barn. The blanket covered hay bales and natural elements arch created a delightfully charming ceremony that enveloped country ease. Incorporating white pumpkins also brought in a hint of autumn without distracting from the bride's wedding colors and promoted that late summer vibe.
One of the great aspects of The Barn at Double K Ranch is the variety of rooms and spaces to create whatever vision you have in mind. From the open floor plan and grandeur of the Hay Mow to the downstairs functionality and original beauty of the Milking Parlor and Loafing Barn, we have just the space to fall in love with.
